Plot No B-57,Airochem Engineering Company was established in the year 1975 as an industrial fabrication shop. The competition in this field necessitated need to develop product. In the year 1986 they started making industrial fans.
kolhapur town is a major producer of cast iron. Cupola Furnace was the popular furnace to melt iron. However, the heart of cupola was the blower, and it was difficult to get one with proper performance. Many foundries were struggling to get properly designed blower, so that they could get desired melt temperature and melting rate. They studied combustion air requirement, and designed blowers to meet entire range of cupolas for melting cast iron, in all sizes. They cultivated the habit of providing total solution since then.
