Shuzlan Energy Private Limited has made an exciting announcement about its partnership with Transvolt Mobility. This cooperation represents an important step towards the electrification of public transport in India. They have signed an agreement to set up India's largest Electric Vehicle Charging Point Operator (CPO) infrastructure, aimed at servicing 1,000 buses.
These EV charging stations will be strategically located across India, with the inaugural hub at Mira-Bhayander Depot of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Transport (MBMT). This hub is expected to become an essential resource for powering 57 public buses, marking the beginning of a new era of efficient and environmentally friendly public transport.
This substantial installation of EV charging stations is an important milestone, with plans to set up multiple depots within a year with 350 charging operators, all operating according to a fixed income model. These charging solutions are tailored to the growing demand for sustainable transport, making the adoption of electric vehicles more accessible and user-friendly.
Shuzlan's introduction of the Charging Management System (CMS) technology aims to further improve the charging experience and reliability for EV users.
Rohit Pandit, the Managing Director and Chairman of Shuzlan Energy, expressed his enthusiasm, saying: "We are delighted to partner with Transvolt Mobility to provide state-of-the-art EV charging solutions for 1,000 buses. This partnership underscores our commitment to revolutionizing electric mobility, making it both accessible and efficient. We are ready to reach new industry milestones and we eagerly look forward to the positive impact our efforts will have on sustainable transportation."
The collaboration between Shuzlan Energy and Transvolt Mobility is aimed at laying the foundation for a cleaner and more sustainable future. Their goal is to encourage the widespread adoption of electric buses and facilitate easy access to reliable and convenient EV charging solutions.
