Schwing Stetter India, one of the leading construction and concrete equipment manufacturers, has announced its partnership with SRM Easwari Engineering College, Chennai to provide a comprehensive one-year on-the-job training program for engineering students specializing in civil, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, electronics and communications, robotics and automation, and automotive engineering.
The aim of the initiative is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by giving students practical knowledge and skills. And to ensure that their programme is relevant to current industry standards and practices, Schwing Stetter India has adapted the training to meet University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.
As part of the programme, selected students will have the opportunity to work closely with the experienced professionals of Schwing Stetter India and gain an understanding of the manufacturing sector. Through hands-on experience and exposure to real-world projects, students can work on their problem-solving ability, technical proficiency, and development of technical skills.
