For the development of 600 MW of solar projects in Jhansi's Uttar Pradesh district, TUSCO, a joint venture of THDC India and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), has issued an invitation to bid.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 28 February 2023. The bids will open the next day. The project is expected to cost Rs 5.12 million.
The serious money deposit amount is Rs 51,170 and must be submitted by bidders. The winning bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee amounting to 3% of the value of the contract. The contract runs for four months.
The consultant must have carried out environmental and social impact assessments for infrastructure projects, including public or private sector renewable energy projects, for at least five years in order to participate in the bidding process. At least three of the above analyses should cover the development of solar power plants.
In addition, at least three of the above assessments should take into account the livelihood recovery plan and resettlement action plan of the previous five years.
In accordance with international standards, the consultant must also have experience in conducting environmental and social impact assessments.
