Under NH(O)-NE, the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has issued a tender for the EPC mode expansion of Assam's Simen Chapori to Nagabang Gamsuk (Package 2) and Tamenglong to Mahur section (NH-137) (Package 8) roads. From km 27.70 (Simen Chapori) to km 55.00 (Nagabang Gamsuk) in Assam, the road will be widened to four lanes with a paved shoulder as part of package 2.
The cost of the project, including the relocation of utilities, is Rs. 420.74 million and it will take 30 months to build.
From km 116.48 near Hangrum to km 136.50 near Hejaichak, the project's scope includes widening and upgrading to two lanes along the NH-137 route from Tamenglong to Mahur (package 8). The total cost of the project, including the relocation of utilities, is Rs 539.81 crore. There are 24 months of construction time.
The deadline to submit bids for both is March 13, 2023.
