SJVN, a state-owned company, has announced that its subsidiary SJVN Green Energy has won a 200 MW solar project worth Rs 12 billion from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.
The estimated cost of this project is about Rs 12 billion, and it is expected to generate 455.52 million units (MUs) in its first year, with a total power generation of about 10,480.82 MUs over a period of 25 years.
The completion of the project is expected to reduce 513,560 tonnes of carbon emissions, contributing to the Government of India's mission to reduce carbon emissions.
