L&T Construction & Mining Machinery achieved a milestone in indigenous equipment supply with the successful delivery of its 3,000th L&T compactor. At an event at L&T Construction Equipment's Doddaballabpur plant on 28 November, the symbolic key of the L&T 2490 pneumatic tire roller was handed over to the customer, Neelesh Kumar Singh, Managing Partner, Anmol Associates by Arvind K Garg, Senior Vice President -President and Chief , L&T Construction & Mining machines.
Anmol Associates is a Lucknow based company specializing in road construction. The company has a large machine park, including 14 L&T compactors. Singh has completed prestigious projects for NHAI, UP-PWD, UP-Irrigation and MoRTH. One of his esteemed projects was the beautification of the city of Prayagraj during the Kumbh Mela.
The rollout of this 3000th machine strengthens LTCEL's leadership in the production of indigenously designed equipment and paves the way for the fulfillment of the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission launched by the Government of India. L&T has been successful in exporting these presses to SAARC and African countries. Launched in 2017, L&T compactors have rapidly penetrated the Indian market and are preferred by customers for their excellent quality and reliability.
