Zoomlion has unveiled the ZAT24000H, the largest tonnage all-terrain crane in the world. The new model is designed for lifting and servicing wind turbines and has a lifting capacity of 2,400 tons, breaking its own existing record for the QAY2000 with a capacity of 2,000 tons, set in 2012.
The crane is equipped with telescopic and wind-powered booms. for the installation of wind turbines up to 525 feet in length. The model's powerful lifting system can lift even the largest turbines within 30 minutes, the company says. The design of the ZAT24000H features a single-cylinder, double-sided pin boom structure for enhanced anti-side bending capabilities. The electro-hydraulic intelligent safety control system increases the product's capacity for wind resistance and safety guarantee.
