CII’s road show to announce CII EXCON in Bengaluru

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) had organized a roadshow in Bengaluru for the announcement of their CII EXCON in the presence of senior government officials, industry leaders and stakeholders in the infrastructure and construction machinery sector.

South Asia's Largest Construction Machinery and Construction Technology Exhibition - EXCON 2021, hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), will be held from May 17 - 21, 2022 at Bengaluru International Exhibition Center.

EXCON 2021 covers more than 3,000,000 square meters of display area. It is expected to attract more than thousands of exhibitors from India along with countries such as the US, UK, UAE, Germany, Italy, France, Sri Lanka, South Korea and Singapore. The 5-day exhibition attracts 40,000 business visitors around the world.

Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited, EXCON Steering Committee Member and Managing Director, VG Sakthi Kumar said this is EXCON's 11th edition and this year's theme is 'Building India for a New World: Competitiveness, Growth, Sustainability, Technology ' is. They will exemplify the role of innovation and smart technologies in India's infrastructure development to make India the global hub for 'Construction Equipment Manufacturing' by 2030.

Currently, India occupies a prominent position in the global construction equipment landscape as it is the third largest market in the world. The Government of India's Rs 111 lakh crore National Infrastructure Pipeline will help the CE industry to become the second largest CE market in the world.
