Announcing the decision of the State Executive Committee (SEC), which met under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, officials said there will be a complete halt to non-essential movements every Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday. in the union area. am.
An order from the chief secretary said pregnant female workers would be exempt from physical presence and allowed to work from home on weekdays.
Under a previous order, curfews and online teaching will continue in schools and colleges, it added.
"There will be a complete restriction on non-essential movements during weekends throughout Jammu and Kashmir," Mehta said.
